SE Bordnetze - Slovakia s.r.o. was established in 1996, originally as Volkswagen Elektrické Systémy s.r.o. Since 2006, the company was acquired by Sumitomo Electric Industries Group. The company was producing wire harness for car makers belonging to Volkswagen Group, such as Audi, Škoda, Porsche, Seat as well as prototype assembly boards for different projects in a car industry.
The company gradually transformed itself into a service centre. Apart from providing service support for all sister companies within SEBN Group, it focuses on delivering trainings and consulting support together with wire harness repairs in the wire harness manufacturing for companies in the automotive industry.

IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015.
Currently, the company employees approximately 160 employees.
It is a nerve system of every vehicle – This is how our employees view our wire harnesses. A vehicle without a wire harness inside does not function at all since it supplies all electrical loads, including window regulators, navigation systems etc. At the same time, it is also considered the component with the greatest flexibility – making its way through the vehicle, under the seats and along metal frames and plates, from the engine to the rear of the car and back again.
What makes this path so challenging? The size and volume of the wire harness, numerous number of variants – and the fact that it must ensure maximum safety.
Working with electrical wiring systems is literally “charged” with exciting challenges. A task which demands technical enthusiasm, creativity and individual initiative.
